Busy Weekend...

This weekend has flown by! We had two graduations and Mother's Day...lots going on! Here are a few pics from the weekend...

These are our friends, Jack and Stacy (now Dr.'s Jack and Stacy Higgins!!!), many of you know them as our Aggie friends. They are our best friends up here and they will soon be moving to the DC area for jobs. We met them in our church in Fayetteville. They are Aggies (class of '01) and Stacy and Dave were even in the same Freshman Bible Study at the BSM...small world! They have a son, Freddy, 5 weeks younger than Jackson...it was so wonderful to be pregnant together and be able to talk about stuff. We have been friends with the Higgins for about 4 years now and it will be hard to tell them goodbye. We were each others first friends here in Arkansas since leaving TX, so they are pretty special. We will miss yall so much!!!!!

Here are a couple pics with Suzannah. She is our neighbor, but she is also family. She pretty much lives at our house when she isn't at school/work/or her home. We adore this gal so much and she is very special to us. We are so proud of her and will really miss her not being around all the time in the fall. Luckily she will only be 30 minutes away at the Univeristy of Arkansas. I am sure I will be picking her up for coffee and out for dinner every now and then. :)

Lastly, my first Mother's day with Lauren! She is so adorable and I can't imagine not having her around. She is the perfect addition to our family! I wish I had a pic with Jackson, but the day was too crazy!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Memorial...

Here are a couple pictures from the Oklahoma City Memorial. The entire memorial was very touching and it was so honoring to those who had passed.

This represents the time lives were changed....9:01 is on one end of the water and 9:03 is on the other, the water represents 9:02, the time of the explosion.

The playground where the kids played is still there (minus the toys) surrounded by little crosses with bells. The playground was in the front and acutally all the original front entrance (fountian, planters, stairs) are all still there while the location of the actual memorial is right where the building was. (well part of the building, there also use to be a raod there, but now it's been dedicated to the memorial site) This picture is original to the outer entrance of the building.

Pretty Baby Girl ( 3.5 months)

Allison and Suzannah on our weekend getaway!

Family in OKC this weekend

We ended up having a fun weekend even if we didn't do a whole lot. We ate a lot, shopped and had fun times together. We came to Tulsa on Monday and didn't do anything too exciting there either. :) Dave has now had 2 days with his new job, so far so good. Thanks for the prayers!

Oklahoma City Flop

So, between jobs we had a 3 day weekend to kill some time. We decided to go to Oklahoma City to hang out and see a new place... I think we'll be heading to Tulsa tomorrow, where they have stuff to do. :(

If you have any suggestions for OKC, let us know.

Last Day of this chapter...

Hard to believe, but today is Dave's last day at DaySpring. We have been in Arkansas just 2 weeks short of 4 years! Since moving here (in order of coming) we bought our first home, got 2 dogs, had two beautiful children, made tons of friends, started working part time with youth and much more....We have almost been married 5 years....I wonder what exciting things the next 5 years holds! Dave starts his consulting on Tuesday and he already has at least one/two months worth of work. Don't worry there are other potential jobs in the horizon. I will start a part time job with Blessings Unlimited, which is direct sales of Chritian products in peoples homes (called Gatherings). If you are intrested in Hosting or becoming a consutlant talk to me :) There is a link on the right on this page for more info. I hate to say it, time really does go by fast. Before I know it I will be writing about the next 5 years of our lives!

Dave, I am so proud of you and your dedication to our familiy. God has blessed us so much and met all of our needs. I know He will continue to do so and make our lives so full! I am excited about the next step God is taking us on! I love you!

Please pray for our family and all the upcoming changes! We love all of you!

Here are some pics from earlier today! :)
