Finally....some pictures from our trip to New York! I am so behind on updating all of you with pictures, I will try to catch you up with our summer!

Justin and Maribel on the Water Taxi around New York....They got engaged on this trip!!! CONGRATS!!!

First Stop....PIZZA in Brooklyn! Justin and I love to eat pizza....and Maribel lived in Brooklyn and said this is one of the best places in all of New York...it was GREAT! we did stand in line for an hour outside, during a New York heat wave!

taking in the sites! Times Square!

Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe with our best friends, the Higgins...they were on their way to Canada.
Rockefeller Center....Higgins' family!

Justin and Maribel took a helicopter ride over the city...what a neat experience....while they did that Dave and I were getting ready to go see Chicago on Broadway.

Meeting up after the show and ride....that is 1lb of MEAT on that!
THEY GOT ENGAGED WHILE WE WERE AT THE SHOW!!!
Maribel was so surprised...it was great!
After a late night meal...time to go to the APPLE store! I must admit the entrance to this store was amazing...there was a staircase under the apple in this clear entrance. BTW, this apple store is open 24/7. We got there around midnight and there were tons of people there!
Central Park....

Yankee Stadium! It was a great game and we saw Jeter hit a home run!

after the game...
more food! the biggest BLT we had ever seen!
The Mets Game...it was GREAT!

That's the end of our trip. We had tons of fun and we all had a great time! Next summer we plan on going to St. Louis to check out the Cardinals....this baseball stadium journey has been a blast and I can't wait to go on to the other stadiums!

Baby #3 is on the way!!!

We are happy to introduce you to Baby Bellomy #3!!!!! We had our first ultrasound this afternoon, so now I can officially say we are expecting! (this is now a true reality for me too!) I am 10 weeks today and the baby is due March 4th. Currently we are not planning on finding out if it's a boy/girl and I am going to try to stay strong to that. Dave and Suzannah are really wanting to find out :) This baby is due only 5/6 weeks after Lauren's b-day and 5/6 weeks before Jackson's birthday, so we should have clothes covered for the most part...so it's a neutral babies room! :) We are thrilled and nervous about adding another member to the family....2009 will be an exciting year! oh and just so you all know, the baby will be a part of the....

Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2031!

Jackson and Lauren are sitting at the table eating breakfast and then all of the sudden I hear...

"who let the dogs out, whoo whoo" - Jackson

I wonder who taught Jackson that???? one guess for everyone! :)

pray for the kiddos, jackson has been really upset that we are gone...which makes me really nervous since the McCords are starting on Monday and the kids are already unhappy. thanks...will be back later!

here i am....delayed at usual!

I never did get around to uploading some new photos...never had a lot of free time. I have free time now, unfortunately I can't upload to the computer. We (Dave and myself) are stuck at O'Hare...going on 4 hours now...2 more to go! That is assuming that the flight doesn't get delayed for a 4th time! we were supposed to be taking off 5 minutes ago. My brother and his girlfriend are already in NYC....probably checking into the hotel, resting on a nice soft bed as my bum is getting numb from the hard seats and legs are tired (i have walked a couple miles already!) :) oh well....I am starting to question if it was worth a few hundered dollars to go straight to new york or hang out in O'Hare for 8 hours??? hmmmm :) probably better to save the money.

This is actually our first trip away from the kids for more the 24 hours....and not being able to drive over in 30 minutes. (that has only happened a couple times) We get back wed afternoon...seems like a long time from now! Dave's Mom and her mom, were very nice to come up and watch the kids for a 4 day weekend and then our wonderful neighbors (McCord's) will be watching the kids the last 2 days. Hopfully we don't get delayed on the way back....but since we are flying though O'Hare the chances are very likely!

what are we doing in NYC???
  • Saturday we are going to meet up with some friends (the Higgins) since they are on their way up to Niagra Falls. They are our best friends that live in DC...also AGGIES! :)
  • Sunday, Dave and I are going to a BROADWAY show and seeing Chicago! we actually booked the show while sitting here at the airport! (i guess being stuck here does have it's advantages! )
  • Monday and Tuesday nights are the real reason we are visiting the Big Apple...BASEBALL!!! My brother and I are visiting all the baseball stadiums....very fun! Well this is the last year for Yankee Stadium...which is so hard to believe....it's such a vital part to baseball history! This also happens to be the last year for the Mets stadium. Which I guess means we might have to add the new staduims in 10/15 years :)
  • wednesday is an airport day :)

This should be a really great trip if we ever get out of O'Hare...i hope we don't have to spend the night here! hope everyone has a great weekend!

*Update* we just got delayed again! (4:30pm) we are now leaving at 6:22
