it's a bean kind of day...

it's has been a long week in the Bellomy house. we have had a house full of sick kids! First Jackson, with a bad cough and fever...then Lauren started as Jackson was getting better and now it's Peter's turn as Lauren is getting better. Peter has also had en ear infection. Lauren had a birthday this week (pics to come) but she was too sick to enjoy it. Her party is Saturday so I hope she gets back to 100% quickly. I need them to get better...I am about to go crazy! :) We really haven't been out at all for about 3/4 weeks...when it was in the negatives temperature we didn't go anywhere! now sick kids...hopefully by monday we will all be back to normal. oh and Peter get's his helmet tomorrow...i will miss his sweet head!

Jackson writing..

Jackson loves to have homework at home. So we have a few workbooks to practice lots of different things. But yesterday he really wanted to work on writing 3 and 4 letter words. So I wrote a bunch of words on paper and he copied them. He loved doing this!

then I wrote a FIVE letter word! he was very unsure about copying this word. He asked me 'mom do you really think I can do it??' I told him he could and then he did it. You would have thought he was king of the mountain! it so much fun to see them learn and grow!

staying inside for a WEEK!

this week has been a very frigid week....literally! it has been in the negatives with wind chills...this morning when we got up the temperature was ONE! needless to say we have hardly been out at all this week....maybe 5 hours out of 5/6 days! we have had a really wonderful week and I look forward to the next cold week. We didn't even get to do all of our inside activities...so we are ready for the next time! here are a few of the things we have been doing....
